Mountain Climbers, core strength and cardio all in one

We often hear that you must strengthen your core, which I totally agree with. But we can do more than just holding a plank, think how often do you stand still and brace. Our world is a dynamic one, so lets add some movement into that and at the same time. Make it a bit more interesting than seeing how long you stay still for. 

Mountain Climbers is an exercise that you can include in any kind workout. It fits well into cardiovascular training because you can still maintain your heart rate whilst working your core. 

You could potentially make this easier by lying down on your back and bicycle kicking your legs instead.
