About

Hi, I am Richard from Step into Life Pymble, owner and trainer for 9 years. Exercise, the outdoors and coaching have always been a big part of my life. I coached rowing for 15 years, anybody from beginners to national level athletes. The outdoors was a large part of my decision to immigrate to Australia, I wanted to enjoy it more. When I had to choose between sitting at a desk or working as a coach, coaching and the outdoors won. 9 Years ago, I had to make a decision continue with the sport or consider an alternative. Luckily for me I found the skills I had acquired transferred very well to Personal Training and I start Step into Life Pymble in 2009. To say it has been a rewarding experience that has changed my life would be an understatement. My life has been enriched through the members I train, who have faced their own challenges, climbed their own mountains to make life changing habits stick. I have developed new friendships and seen new friendships develop as a result of the community me and my members have created. People always ask is it a challenge to get up early in the morning, yes perhaps when I forget to set the alarm. But not when I get the chance to be part of my members fitness journey and to be part of a fantastic active community. If you are trying to make some healthy habit stick, then trying our community of supportive members is a must. You will wonder why you hadn't tried it earlier when you do.
